Aaron Knobloch, Board Member
As the former Chairman and current Board Member, Aaron’s role is to provide organization history and context to the strategic direction of the board.
He spent just over ten years in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator and was trained as an Aviation Safety Officer and is currently employed by the U.S. Government as an Aerial Firefighter. He graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Technology and Operations Management.
Aaron’s daughter Alida was diagnosed with NEHI at around eight months old and still requires oxygen today. He and his wife first became involved with the Foundation as parents in 2012. He joined the Board of Directors as a way to give back--applying his drive, determination and leadership skills to help the organization better pursue its ultimate objective of finding a cure.
