All chILD diagnoses are rare and many doctors may not know much about how to diagnose or treat chILD. It is important that you find a doctor with experience treating chILD patients, or who is willing to consult with a chILD specialist. We encourage you to look for a pulmonologist who works with a multidisciplinary team with expertise in this specialized field.
